The Frumam launches its call for projects for the year 2026. On the occasion of its expected renewal, this year will be special:
– the Jean Dieudonné laboratoryof the Côte d’Azur University and
– the COMPA Team (Champ, Ondes, Mathématiques et Applications(Field, Waves, Mathematics and Applications)) of the SPE laboratory of the University of Corte
will join Frumam and its 5 current laboratories:Marseille Institute of Mathematics(Aix-Marseille University), theCenter for Theoretical Physics(Aix-Marseille University and University of Toulon), theAvignon Mathematics Laboratory(Avignon University), theToulon Institute of Mathematics(University of Toulon) and the team Biostatistics and Spatial Processes (Inrae Avignon).
This annual call is open to all research professors in these units. Frumam can help fund your scientific activities, whether they take place in your laboratories, at the federation’s premises on the St Charles campus in Marseille, or elsewhere in the region: working groups, seminars, conferences, outreach to the general public, high school and middle school students, etc.

Requests must include a description of the project, the federation members who will participate in the organization, an overall financial forecast, and the amount requested from Frumam.
Priority will be given to federative projects that bring together several partner labs of our federation.
The federation does not finance conferences at the CIRM already subsidized by the CIRM, apart from the thematic month.
THE DEADLINE for sending us these projects is July 4, 2025.
Depending on the evolution of credits during the year, the federation can also sometimes finance some activities on an ongoing basis, outside of this call.
